In photographer James Reynolds' project "Last Suppers", he documented former Death Row prisoners' requests for their last meal before execution. A lot can be inferred (falsely or not) about the prisoners from their selections of their last meals. Feeling as though we're able to see inside their minds almost gives them a human characteristic... creepy, right? Then you realize that even through the media's dehumanizing of these wrongdoing fellas, at the end of the day, they were human just like us. And even creepier, through seeing their last meals, we can relate to them. Well, bajeebers!
Here's food for thought (ha ha): If you were given the death sentence for some not-to-be-named atrocity, what would you select as your last meal?
Also, what does that say about you? Or rather... what would people infer?
[P.S. My favorite is the fruit platter.]

I still find these meals somewhat lacking in light of the more bizarre meals that have been ordered over the years!---Ty Treadwell, author of Last Suppers: Famous Final Meals from Death Row
